Watchlists: Track Your Own Names

By Squeeze Setups · Updated June 2026

Goal: Build a watchlist of the symbols you care about and let the platform tell you, every day, which ones need your attention now.

You need: A Squeeze Setups account and a few tickers you already follow.

A watchlist is your own slice of the Squeeze Board. Instead of scanning all 614 stocks, you add the names you trade, and we sort them by what they need right now: firing, closest to firing, sitting in a squeeze, or flagged to skip. The point is not to store a list. The point is to open one view in the morning and immediately see what changed.

How do I build a watchlist?

Type a symbol into the add box and it joins your list. You can keep one list or create several (for example, a core list, a sector list, and an “earnings this week” list) and switch between them. Adding and removing symbols is the whole setup. Everything else, the grouping and the columns, is computed for you from the same 22-year per-symbol record that powers the board.

A Squeeze Setups watchlist showing symbols grouped by what they need now, with trend, change today, and 22-year edge columns
Your names, grouped by urgency, with trend, today’s move, and the 22-year edge on every row.

How are names grouped?

Rather than one flat alphabetical list, your symbols are bucketed by where they sit in the setup cycle, so the most actionable names float to the top:

  • Firing now: a trigger printed today. A gold arrow is a Slingshot Squeeze, a cyan arrow is a Squeeze Signal. These are the names that need a decision today.
  • Closest to firing: compression has tightened a tier and the row is one step from a trigger. Watch these next.
  • In a squeeze: at least one shown timeframe is compressed, but no trigger yet.
  • Skip-flagged: names you have marked to ignore for now. They stay on the list but drop to the bottom so they do not clutter the live groups.

Because the groups update with the data, a symbol moves itself from “in a squeeze” up to “firing now” the day its trigger prints. You do not re-sort anything.

What do the columns tell me?

Each row carries the three things you need to judge a name without leaving the list: how it is trending, what it did today, and whether the setup has a real history.

Column What it shows
Trend / momentum Whether the EMA stack is bullish and which way momentum is pointing.
Change today The symbol’s move on the session, so you can see what is in play right now.
22-Yr edge The per-symbol backtest record: number of trades, win rate, net, and expectancy per trade.

That last column is what a generic ticker tracker does not give you. A name can be firing today and still have a weak 22-year record, and the column shows you that before you act. For context, our validated daily setups landed around 69.1% win for the Slingshot Squeeze and 67.4% for the Squeeze Signal, but those are pooled figures. The edge column is per symbol, so check the name in front of you.

What is the “Changes today” view?

“Changes today” filters your list down to only what moved since yesterday, so a long watchlist becomes a short, scannable update. It surfaces three things:

  • Fired today: symbols that printed a Slingshot Squeeze or Squeeze Signal trigger this session.
  • Dots changed: names whose squeeze tier shifted, for example tightening from red (Normal) toward black (Fast), the tightest tier.
  • Closest to firing: the names now one step from a trigger.

If you only have two minutes, this is the view to open. It answers “what is different about my names today” and nothing else.

How does this fit my routine?

A simple daily flow:

  • Open your watchlist and check “Changes today” for anything that fired or tightened.
  • Click a row to open the symbol drawer for the full verdict and 22-year record.
  • Jump to Charts or the Backtester from there if you want to look closer.
  • Skip-flag the names you have already decided against so tomorrow’s list stays clean.

Remember the mechanics of both setups: you enter on the trigger while the squeeze is still on, and the green fired dot is the exit, not the entry.

One honest caveat: a watchlist concentrates your attention, it does not improve the odds. Even our strongest daily setup lost one trade in three across 22 years. The list helps you act on the right names at the right time; it does not change the win rate.
